PEPE AGUILAR GANA DISCO DE ORO POR SU “MTV UNPLUGGED”
El cantautor mexicano Pepe Aguilar recibió el pasado martes 04 de noviembre la certificación de Disco de Oro en este país por su MTV Unplugged, a poco más de dos semanas de su lanzamiento.
El álbum, producido por Emmanuel Meme del Real, integrante de Café Tacvba, ha tenido gran aceptación en México, donde debutó en el número uno de ventas en una reconocida cadena de tiendas de discos, se colocó siete días consecutivos en el primer lugar de iTunes y actualmente se mantiene en el Top 10, se informó mediante un comunicado.
La producción musical está conformada por 13 temas, entre grandes éxitos del artista y clásicos de la música mexicana y el rock en español reversionados, bajo el sello de Unplugged, así como canciones inéditas en las que fusionó diversos géneros musicales.
Pepe Aguilar: MTV Unplugged se mantiene actualmente dentro de los primeros 10 lugares de popularidad en la radio nacional con temas comoPerdono y olvido, Mi credo, Entre dos ríos, Miedo, Viento y Prometiste.
La grabación contó con invitados musicales como Miguel Bosé, Saúl Hernández, Natalia Lafourcade, Reyli; sus hijos: Ángela Aguilar y Leonardo Aguilar; además de La Marisoul de la Santa Cecilia y Amandititita.
Cabe mencionar que la semana pasada se estrenó el segundo sencillo del material titulado Siempre en mi mente, a dueto con Miguel Bosé.

El 25 de noviembre de 2006 sería su última presentación en la que entregaría su talento en la música al público, Valentín acudió al palenque de la Expo-Feria en Reynosa, Tamaulipas donde perdió la vida en un atentado. El intérprete iba acompañado de su representante y amigo, Mario Mendoza; su chofer Raymundo Ballesteros, y de sus guardias de seguridad, fueron acribillados.
Aunque todavía continúa el misterio sobre su muerte, lo cierto es que ‘El Gallo de Oro’ continúa presente en los corazones y recuerdos de sus seguidores, quienes lo conmemoran pidiendo sus éxitos en las estaciones de radio.
Para su aniversario luctuoso número 8, le harán homenaje en el panteón municipal de Guasave, Sinaloa. Por otro lado, la ‘Banda Gusaveña‘, quien acompañaba a Valentín Elizalde, en junio pasado presentó su primer material discográfico ‘Seguimos al Frente‘, en el cual, a través de ‘Mi primer corrido‘, autoría Juan Martín de Saracho, rinden tributo a Elizalde.

Ocho años han pasado ya del terrible asesinato del cantante Valentín Elizalde, pero hoy es recordado en su aniversario luctuoso por miles de fans, quienes aún siguen emocionándose con cada uno de sus temas, disfrutando de ese particular estilo de interpretar que dejó plasmado en múltiples éxitos.
El Gallo de Oro, como le llamaban sus fanáticos, inicio su carrera como cantante y compositor desde muy temprana edad, aunque su verdadero despunte en las grandes ligas lo hizo mucho tiempo después, dándose a conocer como uno de los cantantes más originales del panorama regional mexicano.
Originario del estado de Sonora, Elizalde, a la par de sus estudios profesionales en la carrera de Derecho, construyó las bases de lo que sería su carrera musical, dándose a conocer en gran parte del norte del país, donde inició la promoción de su primer álbum.
Luego de un gran éxito con su primera producción, el cantante no hizo más que dejarse llevar por la corriente del espectáculo musical y dar rienda suelta a su talento en composiciones e interpretaciones que marcaron toda una etapa en la escena grupera.
Entre los éxitos que todos recordarán, aún suenan en los medios temas como“Vete ya”, “Como me duele”, “La más deseada”, “Y se parece a ti”, “Nada”, “Ebrio de amor”, “El Venadito”, “Te Quiero Así”, “Soy Así”, “Vencedor”, “Vete con él”, “La Playa”, “Lobo Domesticado” y muchos más.
Elizalde fue asesinado el 25 de noviembre de 2006 enReynosa, Tamaulipas, por un comando armado, presuntamente, perteneciente a la mafia del narcotráfico, luego de que ofreciera su último concierto en la Expo Feria de la ciudad, sin embargo, las causas y los responsables de su muerte siguen siendo un misterio.
